In my Biology class we were picking a mammal to do a project on. I have Bio first hour (and for anyone who wants to know, I picked the domestic cat) so, after band (2nd hour) I was talking to my friend about it. I asked her what mammal did she want.

She said she wanted the penguin.

I said that the penguin wasn't a mammal. At first I thought she was kidding or joking.
She looked at me like I was lying to her.
Her argument back that penguins were mammals was that, I'm not joking, "but they breathe air"

I couldn't take it anymore, so I turned around and started laughing down the hallway.

Then I started to tell anyone who would listen about her. Luckily for her and me someone explained it to her.

She honestly thought penguins were mammals.

Penguins are BIRDS!
